i honestly don't know what to write here... i'm only filling this out because i play mmorpg's and always want to level up (in this case, get to 100%)... i'm currently at 95% and i don't feel like making up a question... update: i'm still at 95% and i STILL don't feel like making up a question...

so, let's see... i served in the military for about 7 years... i have a bachelor's in economics... i moved to eugene from the nyc/nnj area... that's where i grew up.. i love watching and playing sports.. i'm a mets fan, not a yankee fan... i've now moved to tualatin as our company's offices have moved up to portland...

i love typing and using the "..." to end my sentences... i'm not sure why... i play videogames... between Mass Effect 1 & 2 and WoW right now... i used to be really into SWG, but they destroyed that game by coming out with the CU and NGE... i go back and log on to that game every once in a while, get upset at it's current state and log off... i'm also waiting anxiously for the new star wars MMO to come out.

i like traveling and got through my machu picchu trip, it was amazing... our group didn't do the normal inca trail, instead we did the salkantay trail and although it was pretty grueling at times, it was definitely worth it...

also, just putting it out there because people find it strange, i don't drink or smoke... not sure why they think it's strange, but i figure i'll put that out there now...

That's one of my favorite romantic songs of all time. *grin* Shame I don't have a lady with whom to slow dance to that song. Ever been making dinner in the kitchen and have the man you're seeing take you in his arms and dance to the slow song on the radio/CD? I do that. Ever have a man give you a rose "just because"? I do that. Do you like to reciprocate romantic gestures? I hope so.

Being not-quite-50 and it'd be nice to have someone whom I can date on a regular basis, and maybe come to an "undertanding"? I don't care what you do, as long as you have a job of some kind and it's full time. I'm not even the jealous type if you make more than I do. Age? Chronological age doesn't matter; it's how you conduct yourself. Honesty, Integrity and Humor are three big plusses in my book.

Looks? This is a tough one, isn't it? I have no hard-and-fast rule on that. I'm not bad looking, but I'm no Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson. I'm me. Accept me as me or move on. Ditto for you. If I can't accept you as you, I'll move on myself. But for you; cute works. And inner beauty that shines through. You can be anything from slender as a willow wand to hourglass shaped figures (this will sound crude, but please don't have a butt in the next zipcode, OK?).

I ride a motorcycle, too. Actually, it's a scooter on steroids; a 2005 Suzuki Burgman 650 that I enjoy riding rain or shine. No, it's not a Harley. *shrugs* It's my ride and I'm proud of it. There should be a picture posted along with this. It's no Vespa, that's for sure!

There are many things I like to do; wander Saturday Market, bookstores, libraries. Once in a great while, the museum or a gallery, but only for short periods. I can discuss most literature and yes, art. I'm not really into politics and religion is my own business as well as yours. I respect whatever your belief may be, and I expect the same. The coast, of course, gets the nod as well as just beautiful countryside.

However, I'm not an outdoor nut, gymrat, or anything other super-exercise enthusiast. Hey, if you wanna drag me along, that'd be fine, but expect indoor recreation as well. *wink* I think a lot of the reason I don't do that outdoor stuff is lack of company. I don't "do" the outdoor male-bonding thing. If I want to bond with guys, we'll go to a pub or even just sit around at home, watching vids. Going out into the wilderness, shooting a large wild animal for consumption just doesn't do it for me.

Anyhoo...I have an interesting sense of humor that varies from wacky to snarky, laced with colorful euphemisms. I also enjoy chocolate and sweets of many kinds (a weakness, I know), I can cook and do know to leave the seat down! *chuckles* Without writing a novel of me ("Magical Me" Kudos for the person who gets that reference) would take too long, but I think you get the idea. Hey there.......I figured it was time to update a little more here..... I not so recently relocated here but it's been an enjoyable change so far. I have 3 sons, 27,14, and 11........ I have an easy-going personality with a great sense of humor. I love to bowl, enjoy golf, and playing softball as well as other outdoor sports or going out and shooting darts and playing pool over a corona or 2.......... or a night on the town complete with dancing. I also enjoy rafting and camping ........ even shopping.......yard sales and Saturday Market is great. I wake up to NPR every morning, I squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom of the tube, and the toilet paper comes over the top of the roll at my place.

Wow, my self summary, not really sure. I have 2 great sons, they are great guys and I love spending time with them. They are both very different and that allows me to do a lot of different things. I love working with my horses. I have a dog and 2 cats at home with me now.

You can say that I am hermit, but just because I like my alone time. But that does not mean that I like being alone all the time. I love going out and doing interesting things. I've been really getting into camping and out door stuff.

My life is going pretty well. I am content, independent, have a great group of friends, an active social life, stability and goals. But I wouldn't mind sharing my life with someone special.

Currently, Iâ??m looking to see who is out there. Ideally, I wouldnâ??t mind being in a long term relationship but Iâ??m not looking to rush into one. Also, Iâ??m not looking for a casual partner, hookup or whatever people call it now. I believe that friendship, mutual respect and physical/emotional attraction are the basis for a healthy, stable relationship but I also realize that this takes time to build.

I love the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer. I enjoy the simple things in life and discovering new places. I've recently been to the Laurelhurst Theater, The Pied Cow and The Living Room theater and I'm finding that I rather enjoy the smaller eclectic places of Portland. I've definitely been bitten by the bug and want to discover more of this great city. I also enjoy walking/hiking, camping, fishing, trying local brew houses or coffee houses, the Oregon coast or the local music scene. It's important that I'm able to stay active and work out, as well. But I can be content with spending time at home, curled up on the couch with a good movie (or maybe playing video games) and a home cooked meal. I'm a sucker for lazy Sunday mornings spent in PJ's and cooking breakfast.

I'm always up to try something new and wouldn't mind meeting someone with an adventurous side. I wouldn't mind finding a sushi buddy! I have a guitar and am trying to teach myself but it would be much more fun with someone who knows how to play or who can at least give me some pointers. I am a happy , easy going person that loves to spend time with my friends. My passion is horse back ridingl. I have two horses and ride 4-5 days per week. I like to do a variety of other things, just like most people. I enjoy Saturday Market, hiking, the beach, movies, working around my house, dining out. I love good food and chocolate! I enjoy wine tasting out in Yamhill County.

I'm always me, been told many a time that I am unique, stubborn, hard to handle, and difficult to figure out. But theres a lot of love left in me to share, and not enough people to share it with.

Delving into the world of school books and homework with no real "goal" in sight is scary and delightful. Soon, I will be furthering my path in life and somehow, someway, there'll come a time when I will be the adult that I always imagined I'd be.

Outwardly, I can seem like a flake. Trust me, I'm not. It's called panic disorder with a sprinkle of social phobia and a pinch of agoraphobia. Don't hold it against me.

There'll also be a time when I am a full time caregiver for my mom, and although it's incredibly daunting to think about, I'm looking forward to giving back and being the one to take care of her.

I need people who can understand that I won't be calling all the time, if my cell is up I will text 24/7, that I don't bar hop and won't be hovering. But that I email well, listen, give advice, make jokes, and I'm told I'm very good at making a day brighter, when I want to.

It'd be most excellent to find others who either live with anxiety also or have dealt with it and are patient about it, and who aren't kid haters.

My interests are pretty varied and I'm always open to learning new things. Learning is a favorite hobby. I can be pretty adventurous, but not to the extreme. Spontaneity is fun, but only after priorities have been met. I've been fairly reclusive most of my life, but as I've gotten older and more stable, my love of being outdoors has blossomed. Hiking and exploring, going on little adventures into the Oregon countryside is pure win. On the other hand, being indoors is still awesome and my computer is a special friend. I'm also fairly creative, love to write. Very analytical as well and thrive on logic. Basically I'm a walking oxymoron.

A downside to me would be that I'm disgusting. Not like I don't shower, but talking about nasty stuff doesn't bother me. I tend to say gross and crude things around others and don't even realize that it might bother them. After all I am a social retard.

A basic lists of interests include: PC gaming (not consoles!), movie watching, outdoors-y thing (I want to get into hunting too), guns (have my own .22 rifle), going out for drives, Anime, webcomics, medical stuff, history, mythology, animals (have a dream of owning a horse ranch someday), card games, and I'd love to get into D&D. Other basic things like billiards and bowling too, though I'm an above average bowler actually.

On the flip side I am NOT interested in bars or clubs, casual encounters, drugs of any kind, drinking excessively, ignorant fucktards or egotistical bastards. I'm not politically correct, but making fun of people just for existing isn't funny, neither is being too pin-headed to see different viewpoints.

I'm an extroverted person who loves her time alone. So i suppose you could call me an introverted extrovert. I love anything active or outdoors and train as an mma fighter (some ppl call it ultimate fighting or cage fighting).
Alot of people ask why i'm on this site, and all I can say is that i'm a rather busy person and online dating gives me more flexibility than traditional dating. What makes me absolutely melt:
I love music girls. Band, Choir, Orchestra. But especially choir. Good singing voices absolutely make me melt.
Body image is somewhat important but what really makes me melt is the confidence factor. A girl should be able to hold herself with pride and say "This is me. And I'm okay with that."
Sports are also something that melts me. Being outdoors and active is something I love to do and so my girl should want that as well.

But, absolutely the number one thing that just makes me melt and be a puddle on the ground is when a girl is just cute and adorable during the right moments. Knowing when to let that beast out and wrestle around with me but also knowing when the time calls to put away the rough housing and cuddle on the couch with a movie. That is when people are truly in sync with each other. When you can just tell in a situation that this now is the time to say whats on my mind about how I feel about you or knowing when to give me a playful punch on the arm. I understand that this one takes time. I am completely willing to wait. When people are in sync that is when real feelings start to blossom. That is when relationships truly become something extraordinary.

If I were on David Letterman's Top 10 list, this would be it:
1) Iâ??ve been to the eye doctor once when I was 8. Iâ??ve never been back because I have an eye phobia. I think I still have good eyesight despite sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day.
2) I am the most frugal person I know (and yes, I prefer the term frugal â?? not cheap), but get me in a casino and literally, all bets are off. Itâ??s play money when they give you those cute little chips.
3) My goal is to go to 6 of the 7 continents. I could really do without seeing Antarctica. Iâ??ve been to 3 so far.
4) I have over 4000 songs on my iPod and I know the words to just about all of them.
5) I am an only child. Yeah, thatâ??s totally random.
6) I really donâ??t know what I would do if I were in a room with Justin Timberlake, Barack Obama and Stephen Colbert.
7) I shook Bob Barkerâ??s hand on The Price is Right and it made it on TV. Both of the contestants went over on their Showcase Showdown so Bob came in the audience. I was in the aisle and when I met him, I said â??Pleasure to meet you Bob!â??
8) To piggy back on #7, I have a tendency to say the stupidest things when I am nervous. When I was pulled over for the very first time when I was 16, the only reaction I knew to have was to mirror what I had seen on TV. When the cop approached the window, I turned, looked him right in the eye and said â??What seems to be the problem, Officer?â?? Needless to say, he was not amused.
9) To be somewhat respected among my friends, I will always say that my favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. But in reality, itâ??s definitely Dirty Dancing.
10) I donâ??t like camping. I love everything leading up to camping â?? campfires, smores, mingling â?? but I cannot stand sleeping in a tent on the ground.

So I am generally a happy person. I love to laugh, I find something funny in almost any situation and I am sarcastic. I'm a little shy when I first meet people (well sometimes....I guess it depends on the situation and the surroundings) but I open up once I get to know people. Family is really important to me, I have two younger brothers and because of that I do pretty well in video games...lol. I enjoy reading, now that I have the time. I didn't do too much reading for fun while in college, I was sick of the textbooks though. My goal in life is to go to every Disneyland in the world :-). I love amusement parks, especially ones with awesome roller coasters. I am an introspective extrovert. I am one of the funniest people that my friends know and because of that I love to laugh. I am intelligent and completely adorable.
